CRITERIA FOR ALL LEVELS OF MEMBERSHIP
Basic Membership in Elite Office Support's worldwide listing is free, but you MUST meet the membership criteria in order to become and remain a member. This is a community built for virtual business professionals and is intended for dedicated people who want to build their businesses. There are no fees for basic membership, only that you meet the following criteria:- You MUST have an actual business. Do NOT submit your application unless your business is already open. No "opening soon" or "coming soon" applications are accepted.
- You MUST have a website. In today's world, putting up a basic website that will provide you with a conduit to potential clients is extremely important. Alternatively you can use the following options, which are perfectly acceptable and FREE:
- You CAN create a public business Facebook Page, which is FREE. This is different from a Facebook personal profile page.
- Create a hosted blog on Wordpress.com. The options for this including themes are limited and from time to time I know that some clients of mine have had their blogs disappear, so if you choose to go this route, make sure that ALL of your content is backed up somewhere other than on that blog so you can reconstruct it if you need to.
- Absolutely no under construction sites. When you list here, your site is open to the world. Potential clients will not come back if your site is under construction; they will simply find another VA who is prepared for them already. If your site is under construction, simply wait until it's ready to submit your site.
- You must maintain a professional standard of integrity as a professional virtual business owner.
- Absolutely no one with any links to or adult content on their site will be accepted. Period.

*Most benefits are available to FULL EOS members only, which means a reciprocal link back from member website. There are no membership fees to join EOS, but it is to your benefit to link back as you retain all of the Premium Listing benefits simply by linking back. Links back are checked regularly. Link can be anywhere on the site. Those who do not link back can still have a full business listing, but do not enjoy the benefits of free advertising, classified, press releases, etc.
**Press Releases will be printed in the order they are received, upon approval, as quickly as possible. Articles will be printed in the order they are received, upon approval, asap. PR's and articles must be useful news to the industry and not an advertisement for your business.
